The Jeep Wrangler JL 392 Engine & Transmission Bash Plate is made from high-quality, laser-cut 1/4" (6 mm) aluminum, delivering strong yet lightweight protection for the 6.4L V8 model. Compatible with both aluminum and steel oil pans, this plate is engineered specifically for the Wrangler JL 392 to guard the engine and transmission without compromising clearance. Recommended as part of ASFIR’s complete underbody protection system.

The skid plates look great. They mounted easily (getting the bolts out of the engine mount was a chore, but all the various manufacturers use the same bolts to mount). Everything lined up and it seems very strong. Ive never used aluminum skid plates before and time will tell how they hold up but i love the light weight and no corrosion aspect.

ASFIR makes a great product. I have installed their products on both my Gladiator and our Willys. The 2026 fitment was great, but an absolute pain in the butt to line up the nut in the frame. That took the most time. I would have given 5 stars if it were not for that design idea.

The installer could not find enough washers (grommets), maybe the packers made an error. I could use FOUR additional washers...these are meant to allow better sliding over rocks. PLEASE SEND.
