Well made and lighter

I opted for aluminum skids instead of steel on my Gladiator to keep the weight down. You could argue steel plates are sturdier, but unless you are doing really hard core rock bashing, the thick aluminum works. Especially if combined with a good set of sliders. It will protect you from poking holes in the oil pans, trans pan, and various plumbing.

This skid plate from Asfir fit the bill. Solid, good welds, bolted right on with no issues. And they got the skid plate too me within a week or so of the order.

Can’t beat it!

Excellent! Easy to install, lightweight and tough! I’ve already beat them up a little on tincup pass in Colorado. I have a gladiator and tend to fly down trails keeping up with my side by side friends and I bottom out, and blow over taller obstacles than I should and this protected my goods multiple times this year and held up great!

Manual JT

With part number 68411120ab from Jeep which is the transmission skid plate missing on Manual Gladiators the full kits works great! That’s parts about 80 new. Plates are shipped packaged great, and mounted very easy. Flip the bolts on your front skid near differential to avoid those coming in contact during flex.

Belly armor

Very impressed with the ease of this install. All hardware included. No modifications needed and no stock parts have to be completely removed to make this fit. Can't wait to get it trail tested!

Great skid plates but RHD beware

The belly skid plates are easy to install without event needing to lift the vehicle and provide very good coverage.
The rear diff cover is also a very straightforward installation and provides good protection.
However on a RHD vehicle the front diff cover doesn't fit as it interfere with the steering damper and other direction components.
Overall a great product but for RHD vehicles keep in mind the front diff cover may not fit.

Perfect fit for my Gladiator! No drilling or cutting. Super easy install. So easy a caveman can do it! Bolts right up to factory bolts. Super thick high grade aluminum yet very lightweight. Fast shipping like in a week.

ASFIR makes a great product. I have installed their products on both my Gladiator and our Willys. The 2026 fitment was great, but an absolute pain in the butt to line up the nut in the frame. That took the most time. I would have given 5 stars if it were not for that design idea.
